When can I wear eye makeup after tube shunt surgery?

There is no tube shunt specific published date for eye makeup. The closest published guidance is an Ask an Ophthalmologist answer on the American Academy of Ophthalmology site about trabeculectomy, where the ophthalmologist said it is generally safe to wear eye makeup two months after surgery, recommended buying new makeup to reduce contamination risk, and advised keeping makeup and remover out of the eye itself. Tube shunt surgery has a similar concern, which is a foreign material sitting under the conjunctiva.
